We are a group of 9 undergraduate student researchers at the University of Maryland, College Park, in the Gemstone Honors Program's Class of 2023. We are focused on using in vitro models to study the role of the ClC-2 voltage-gated chloride channel in the regulation of epithelial homeostasis and intestinal barrier function.
